"Fewer route options than other airlines"
I’ve used them a few times and the experience has been fine, but I really wish they flew to more places from my city. Compared with some other airlines, the route options here feel limited, so I often end up booking with a competitor just because they have more convenient destinations.

"Website and app only work when they feel like it"
Trying to book a flight on allegiantair.com was such a headache. The pages were loading super slow, the app froze on me twice, and after I already typed in my info, it made me start all over again. Half the buttons are confusing too, so you’re never totally sure if you clicked the right thing. It feels like the website and app only work when they want to, which is frustrating for something as simple as booking a flight...

"Refund credit came through fast"
I got my credit back quickly, which was a nice surprise. I’ve had refunds take forever with other places before, so this was definitely a better experience.

"Check-in was more hassle than it needed to be"
I tried checking in on allegiantair.com and it kept freezing right near the end, which was super annoying. I ended up having to enter my info twice, not exactly what you want to be doing before a flight. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but still, it added some unnecessary stress when I was already trying to get everything together...

"The bag fees nearly made me cry"

Both of my flights left right on time and even landed a little early. that was better than I expected. It felt good to see an airline respect people’s time and follow through the way they should.

The flights were delayed a couple times, and the updates didn’t really come through until late. The price was okay, I guess, but if I really need to be somewhere around a certain time, I’m not sure I’d trust them.

I picked my flight, paid, and was done in what felt like no time. Seriously, there was zero hassle. I’m 100% sure this was one of the quickest booking experiences I’ve ever had.

At first I only really noticed the cheap ticket price, which looked like a great deal. Even after the add-ons, it still came out cheaper than some other airlines, but the bag and seat fees definitely creep up fast. If you’re like me and mostly care about getting from point A to point B without packing much, it’s fine. Just don’t tune out the extra fees or expect much included.

The flight itself was fine , but the seats felt stiff to me . I also found the legroom a bit tight . It wasn’t awful or anything , just not very comfortable after sitting there for a while .

This trip wasn’t the best. The seat felt really cramped, the cabin was loud, and the crew seemed like they were rushing the whole time. Also, the email I got seemed to say one thing, but the actual experience was different, so that was a bit confusing too

"Flight got canceled, but it worked out"
My flight ended up getting canceled, and yeah, rescheduling took longer than I would’ve liked. But it’s not even about that as much as just the hassle of having to rearrange everything last minute. In the end, the new flight worked out fine, so it wasn’t the worst experience
"Cancelled Return Flight"
6 days before our spring break trip, our flight home from Sarasota on 4/9/22 was cancelled by Allegiant. Since we could not get through to Allegiant's customer service department, we sent an email requesting a 1/2 refund so that we could book another flight home. With no notification, Allegiant cancelled our entire trip, including the flight to Sarasota. When we rebooked THE SAME FLIGHT they charged us an additional $500 for THE SAME FLIGHT we had booked since October 2021. There was NO ONE for us to talk to on the customer service line (waited on hold 6+ hours once), NO ONE available to chat with on-line and NO ONE available to help us at the airport. After 4 seperate trips to the airport, we finally found an Allegiant manager who then informed us that he could offer us no help.
The airline stranded 7 people with no way home during spring break week and offered no assistance. We had to find another airline (Delta) and paid $1000 more for a flight from Tampa, just to get home because Allegiant offered NO other options. We have read on-line that they have offered $100 cash vouchers per passenger for their inconvenience.
But when we FINALLY got through on their customer service line today, their service representative, Summer, refused to allow us to speak with a manager and then hung up on us.
